Since the inception of AOI the emphasis is on education and sharing of expertise. In line with such commitment our fraternity has conducted CDE programs with renowned national and international speakers in implant science. The first CDE program held on 21st July 2004 coincided with the inauguration of AOI.
Dr. Ashish Kakar shared his experience on management of partial anodontia patients with dental implants, which was followed by a presentation by Dr. Lanka Mahesh, who enlightened us with the implant possibilities for patients with poor complete denture foundations and finally Dr. Ashish Jain discussed his secretes for the management of surgical as well as aesthetic difficulties arising during implant treatment.
The second CDE program comprised of a full day session with Dr.Edaurado on 9th September 2004 . Dr. Edaurado with his vast experience captured everyone’s attention and presented his cases managed with the use of PGRF, slow speed implant site preparation, new surgical tools for dental implants. This was followed by a session of latest digital CT scan aids available today.
The program was a great success with the participation of dental dealers and over 200 audiences. The informal atmosphere leads to a fantastic brain storming session of question and answers, with Dr.Edaurado promising to return soon.
